what's the forum's general concensus on the grandaddy of shock rock?
I would have put this under classic rock, but after "Brutal Planet", "Dragontown" and "The Eyes Of Alice Cooper" i'm not so sure -- Brutal Planet was a really dark almost Industrial rock album, and Dragontown was similar. "The Eyes Of Alice Cooper" was essentially an "Alice does LA Rock" album, and I haven't heard "Dirty Diamonds" yet.

I LOVE Alice Cooper! I've seen him 3 times now and each time he's been astounding (although the last time was with Twisted Sister and they were awesome!).
Favourite album?
Mine's probably "Killer"... _________________ No Sleep... 'til Bedtime!

i'm torn
Welcome To My Nightmare has a lot of songs on it that I like
(welcome to my nightmare, only women bleed, department of youth, cold ethyl), but i also like DaDa for "Former Lee Warmer" and Constrictor for "Teenage Frankenstein" and "He's Back (The Man Behind The Mask)".
I have to say tho, I do like his latest offerings. By that I mean Brutal Planet, Dragontown and The Eyes Of Alice Cooper, as I haven't heard Dirty Diamonds yet. _________________

Dirty Diamonds isn't as good as other Alice albums, but it's got some great tracks on it. I really like "The Ballad Of Jesse Jane".
