I was really confused when it came to putting this band into a genre... so I asked the band themselves where they thought they should go...

Ooh, cheers Lou. Saw your myspazz bulletin about that, looks good, I'm gonna regsiter on me lunch break.
Hmm, genre, obviously we don't stick out as being one particular genre - I mean some of the old stuff was quite industrial, but we're leaning to more the traditional end of the metal spectrum with the new stuff, and some of it's pretty proggy too. Out of the options on that forum, I'd probably say Classic Metal/NWOBHM, but we could almost as easily slot into Progressive. |
This quote also serves to describe their music a little bit!
They've recently got themselves a brand new vocalist and so this marks a brand new era for Nephwrack.
Short bio from MySpace
From the dawn of time they came - through many evolutions and countless incarnations. It has taken 6 years for Nephwrack to become the band you see today. Despite many line up changes, drummers, guitarists, bassists, singers and electronics changing to real sounds. The music basis has always stayed the same. The ethos of the what the band stood for have stayed the same. Even with what will now be a new era with a new vocalist - the music will not change. The songs will become what Nephwrack has always wanted to achieve - premium examples of metal excellence. Now armed with the tools to make the best music they possibly can these five men will put their all into their creation in a hope to provide what will be soon recognised as one of the best metal debut albums. Forget the Nephwrack of the past. The Nephwrack of the future is now commencing and they wont cease until they prevail.

| it def wasnt the best gig - unfortunate it was a 2 hour soundcheck cos all the equipment was shoddy - he couldt get the sample to not sound crap.. so bad I even had to tell him to start it, and he could not understand what mic control is, cos he though he has to change the volume of my voice etc.. and he could not work any bass etc.. Keir and I both were ill ahh Ill stop complaining.. Just a pity it wasnt what it should have been |
