Are there any fans of Rumpelstiltskin Grinder here? I've got "Buried In The Front Yard..." and, in my opinion, it's a top notch album.
(credit goes to the official website for the info)
Biography
There is a secret underground crime syndicate called RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER (Society RsG) that has been running shit for eons. They are not the mob; they are bigger than the mob. No one knows who heads this lethal organization. The only visible entities of this secret society are the criminal thrash band RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER and members of the Orange and Black Attack.
The musical arm of RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER formed in early part of the new millennium, around 2002, with Matt Moore, Ryan Moll and Pat Battaglia requesting the services of Shawn Riley and Jason Sidote to round out the evil assault. After a vicious 7" and thousands of dollars in stolen goods, Sidote parted ways to pursue the diabolically pornographic XXX Maniak. The super sly Eli Shaika, Orange and Black Attack assassin and member of Witchaven, was decided to be the only choice as to take the reins of this dastardly quintet. New goals for heists have been laid out with RsG’s Relapse Records debut, Buried In The Front Yard… and the crime wave of the future has been realized with RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER.
The band RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER is the physical manifest of the criminal works and diabolical will of Society RsG. The band themselves are experienced criminals, and are a recruiting tool for the syndicate to get more members of the Orange and Black Attack. When asked why now was the time for the physical manifestation of RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER, Shaika comments: “Today’s metal is filled with the false and boring. No one wants to hear the same old same old. Dudes started dressing like girls, and playing like dorks. Metal needed to become dangerous again, and with their superior diabolical burglar metal, RsG brings an edge back into the metal world not known since the days of burning churches and eating brains!”
The Orange and Black Attack are the enforcers of Society RsG. They are trained in both thievery and assassination, and take care of all the 'dirty work' for the syndicate. Any problems within the syndicate or with the band itself will be handled by the Orange and Black Attack. This group of individuals also lives in secret, but you can identify their membership by the symbol of the RUMPELSTILTSKIN (the little icon dude on RsG merch). New members are recruited at every show, and every person that buys a CD, or more importantly, buys a shirt, will be seen by the world as a proud member of the Orange and Black Attack.

RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER UPDATE:
A lot of folks need shit cleared up about what RsG is up to,
so here you go. Eli is no longer in the band, Shawn and Matt are doing vocals, and we're not playing shows for a couple months to write new material. Simple enough. But what to expect when we come back... Who knows?
Perhaps a song about a giant squid who lives in the sewers of a major city and rules the underground? Maybe a feel good rocker about a short but meaningful friendship with... a GHOUL?? Maybe we'll even see a giant inflatable skull on stage during "Nothing defeats the Skull."
One thing remains for sure though... are we still going to thrash? Yes. Are we fucking around? Of course not! |
People still need to listen to this band... they're brilliant! _________________ No Sleep... 'til Bedtime!

I heard about the name and i was listening to some songs on their Myspace page. Sounds pretty good to me but there is only one negative thing about it...the vocals, hmm..don't know what to think about it but it just doesn't fit with the music. Have to listen to them a bit more. First impression is good but like i said...thodse vocals..hmmm _________________ "Never believe in anything until it has been officially denied." |
