Ok quite simply, Led Zeppelin rule! Like then or not, they helped to invent a whole newera/ style and sound, the things they did set the tone for what we have today, that should never be forgotten and will stand the test of time!

I think they were highly influential and I do appreciate what they've done for rock and metal in general... I just don't all the tracks... Is that wrong? _________________ No Sleep... 'til Bedtime!

Nah, I personally don't like alot of their songs. But the ones that are good are just VERY good. There's alot to like about them. Heavy drums, rumbling bass, cutting vocals and flamboyant guitar, it became a blue print. _________________ "A moment can change everything" |

Glad it's not only me then!
I'd agree with that... If it weren't for Led Zep plenty of bands just wouldn't exist now. _________________ No Sleep... 'til Bedtime!

| Nah I have never liked em - I take Sabbath and see them as the godfathers - I see zepplin as the weaker of the two - both formed in 69.. Zepplin neither had the talent nor the present to influence the music I love.. sabbath did that. Zepplin influenced stoner metal.. which I dont like |

I think I mentioned earlier - I can appreciate what Led Zep did for metal, but I'm not really a fan of them (aside from a few tracks). Now, Sabbath, on the other hand... I could listen to them all day... _________________ No Sleep... 'til Bedtime!
