My list changes depending on whose album I'm hooked on that week. At the moment it looks something like this...
Obituary
Carcass
Spawn Of Possession
Skinned
Akercocke (although they're a bit of a hybrid)
Corpsing
Septycal Gorge (their debut is awesome!)
Necrophagist
Nile
Dying Fetus
....Torture Killer should be in there too... oh, and Death! ...and Morbid Angel.... and Decapitated... and... Obsidian... and Psycroptic...
If we include other hybrid bands, Omnium Gatherum (melodeath) and Vesperian Sorrow (dark symphonic) would definitely be in there...

Have you heard "For Maggots to Devour" by Torture Killer? Fantastic stuff! Not as amazing as "Swarm!" though! I think Chris Barnes should take a break from Six Feet Under and go on tour with Torture Killer... and play some shows in London... Supporting Obituary... On my birthday...

Woww...you want a lot Lou.. I hope it will all come true but i doubt it.
I heard everything from Torture killer and they simply rock the shit out of people. It's old school deathmetal and nothing more than that. A lot of people say...why are they so popular?? is it because of Chris Barnes?. Hmm...i doubt that because before he joint to do the vocals they were already a steady good oldschool deathmetal band. Those Finnish people know how to rock and Chris Barnes knows that..

Still... that gig would be awesome...
I agree, I don't think they're popular because of Chris Barnes (if we're honest, Barnes isn't as popular as he used to be). I just think they're a solid band.
