All these guys are gonna have to take the music past where they found it if they wanna survive man! They all just sound like Metallica more technically gifted cousins! Poor seconds for the real thing man! It's not on, find your own place in the sun dudes....on the contrary I luv 'em both and have their albums!

Laughing

I'm not a fan of either. I didn't mind one Trivium track (I can't remember the title - I'd know it if I heard it), but other than that - Nothing.

I've also heard that Trivium aren't very good live. Obviously I can't comment on this too much since I've never seen 'em!

BFMV aren't really any good in my opinion. Yes they can play their instruments but it's just metal-by-numbers. Look, we scream, have pointy guitars and our drummer plays double pedal! We must be metal!!! Not enough.

Trivium sound ok recorded, but they're just not special or unique. I've seen them live a couple of times. At Download they were ok, but when i saw them in London they were poor. I wouldn't hold that against them if i loved the music because everyone can have bad nights sometimes, but yeah.... it's all been heard before.
