I reviewed them a while ago on ARSE (Click here to have a read).
It got quite a low 'out of 10' mark... 3/10. On ARSE this means it's "Not too bad". I think there were a few good tracks on there (I've mentioned them in my review), but not really enough to make a good album. Hopefully they'll get to record another album and then we can see what they come up with.
I will say one thing though - she has a good voice. _________________ No Sleep... 'til Bedtime!

I can't actualy view arse at work hee hee, i mean the arse site.
I will try and check the review later.
What I saw was live footage so it's not always the greatest light to first see a band in, although I think it's mega important to have that aspect down 'cause like in this instance it was the first thing I heard, and it was a bit of a turn off. |

Hehe - I can't view ARSE 'til lunchtime!
I think that the problem with Wicked Wisdom could be that they haven't (as far as I know) played many small venues and so haven't got used to playing live in the same way that other bands do.
While having Jada Pinkett-Smith in the band has raised their profile and brought a lot of attention to them (be it good or otherwise), it also means that they've almost started on the ladder halfway up... if you know what I mean. Having said that, I don't know the history of the band - for all I know they could have had Jada in disguise and been playing in small clubs in the US for the past 5 years... _________________ No Sleep... I saw a little bit of their set on the first day of Download. Wasn't impressed.
By all accounts the sighting of Will Smith (followed by chants of "we want will!!!") made it all quite absurd.
I'd give the album a listen though, so i shall check out their website.
*edit*
Their website is very pretty.... and i think that they sound like a band who need to play more to refine the sound. It's not bad as such, just it needs work. If they're together in a couple of years they could be much better. _________________

Wicked Wisdom! Sounds like Nu Metal toss to me! With a measure of a half assed Evanescence thrown in.

Speaking of Evanescence... They're back, y'know! Does anyone care? _________________ No Sleep... 'til Bedtime!

Further more I cannot condone supporting bands that haven't earned their stripes. Most bands have to work hard to command the publics respect and make a living. Sod this jumping in at the top malarky!
This angers me! _________________ "A moment can change everything" |

I care if they have good tunes, but based on the 30 secs of the new vid I saw I can't say they've developed much in 2 years!!!
