Bon JoviC'mon, there's got to be someone else on these forums (apart from myself) who likes this band!
Apart from Meat Loaf and GN'R, Bon Jovi were one of the first rock bands that I ever got into... and I've been a fan ever since.
Sadly, I don't think the last 3 albums were quite up to scratch (they probably could have taken the best tracks from each and then just made one album), but the stuff they did on "Slippery When Wet" and "New Jersey" was fantastic!
I'm even a fan of the "Keep the Faith" era!

Bon Jovi are class.. any band who do Bad Medicine deserve respect... and hell I like the Blaze of Glory album!
Though if you wanna hear a band who are what Bon Jovi should be now - check out Lipservice by Gotthard - absolute genius!

I have that album!
I love singing along to "Lift U Up" - definitely a Jovi-esque track!
Did you see them at Bloodstock Open Air last year?

Oh yes - and at the Camden Underworld - they were my best gig ever....
with Faith no more second...
And Queen third

Really? I wanted to go to the Underworld gig, but I was too poor
They did a fantastic job at BOA though... I was singing along and I didn't even know the words! There's a sign of a good band!

I admit that I went got their entire back catalogue DVDs and immeresed myself, and 24hours later knew all their songs and they are one band who get better with age

I think they're not that bad really.
I've got Crossroads and Slippery When Wet, and they're alright.
My little brother likes them, which says enough for me.

Good albums to listen to would be "New Jersey", "Slippery When Wet"... and I'd suggest "Keep The Faith" and "These Days" although many are divided on this opinion. I thought those albums are incredibly under-rated (under-rated? Bon Jovi? Yes!). Although "These Days" does have a stupid amount of ballads on, there were some excellent rock songs on it - check out "Hey God" , "Something For The Pain", "Damned" and, even though its not really a high tempo number, "My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms". Also, if you lucky enough to get the limited edition version (with 2 CDs and an extra track! Guess who has this!) there's a track called "All I Want Is Everything" - I really don't understand why this wasn't on the 'normal' version of the album and why it wasn't released as a single.
Also, if you want to hear a Bon Jovi song that doesn't really sound like Bon Jovi... check out "Prostitute". It was a B-side to "This Ain't A Love Song" (I think!).

There's "Something To Believe In" (on These Days), how could you miss it Lou! It's probably the best song they ever wrote!!!
