DragonforceDragonforce surely have to have a place in this forum.
They tend to divide opinion. Personally i think they're great fun live, but that maybe the songs can be a bit samey played on cd.
Good band though. What do other people think?

they are a band that kind of ruin thinngs with the same speed double bassing from beginning to end of everysong - just gets in the way of the rest of their instruments most of the time

A guy i know auditioned for them when they were looking for a drummer a couple of years back.
He said he found it really weird trying to learn their songs because they were really all the same (particularly in terms of the drums)... they said he was "a bit too death metal for them"

Fair enough - they just play all these power songs on end with the same drumming - thats one thing that makes me hate a band
