Everything&NothingOk, so they're not "classic", but they're definitely "Rock"! (...and I didn't know where else to put 'em!).
Biography
from the band's myspace
Everything and Nothing are a SE London/Kent based original hard rock band consisting of- John Ward (Guitarist), Robert LeCornu (Vocalist), Ant Kite (Bassist) and Dan Doughty (Drums). The band have been honing a sound of their own for just over two years but its only recently with the edition of new band members Ant and Dan that they have come along leaps and bounds. They are now set to take stages by storm with their awesome songs and totally rocking live shows which wherever they go seem to earn them new fans and friends alike, and with comparisons made from Lostprophets, Incubus and Staind all the way through to Pearl Jam and Dream Theater its easy to understand that although they have a unique sound of their own theres something for everyone wrapped up in their songs that just happen to be as catchy as hell and littered with great musicality and the kind of lead soloing that will have you reaching for your air guitars and jumping around like lunatics in no time. Current release- 2004 Demo (The Beginning) and recording of follow up EP planned for summer 2006.
Members
Guitars draw JOHN WARD in for the creation of tunage, ROB LE'CORNU feels the urge to make noises over that very sound and ANT KITE surprisingly for someone with such a high flying name supplies a low ended rumble that along with the percussion played by DAN DOUGHTY provides the kind of shindig a do dah that you just cant help but do the funky chicken to.

Hi John here from E & N (short version). We currently have a small break in our schedule due to holidays and what not. Our next gig will be a Headline slot at The Fighting Cocks in Kingston on Saturday 23rd September. If you are of a curious nature pop down and check us out, we don't bite!

SetlistThe setlist was as follows:
Statistics & Answers
Broken
(Guitar Change)
Meant Nothing
Promise
Relentless (New Song)
Shorter than we would have liked obviously but that was all the time we were allowed as the other guys over ran

The future isn't orange? I've been lied to!
I really liked "Relentless" on Thursday - it made me want to dance... and not just because I wanted a free drink!

Cool, but now we have to let you in on something-
It's because its secretly a latin jazz garage house crossover in the guise of a hard rock song.
Well maybe not but it does have a rather nice vibe to it! a little up-beat with alot of movement.
Glad you like

I really thought you were going to reveal something exciting then! Damn you! Now I'm just disappointed...

Well apparently Smarties have the answer!...but they're lying! WE DO!
Not sure if we be wise to disclose stuff, it would be teasing and I soo hate it when bands do that because it's never what they say it's gonna be. Plus would ruin the impact factor.
As you know, all you CAN predict is a good "song", whatever style, tempo or theme. Like "Cool Hand" said we can do it all really, it's just what we choose to let out. "What we do in the practise room, stays in the practise room". Although....

Smarties do have the answer to lots of things though... especially the blue ones...
Ok, at least tell us something... like when's the new EP due to be out?

It's kinda like Grolsch. Good things take time. Personally I'm thinking/hoping October or November depending on the studio we choose, we've yet to decide on one, more shopping around I guess.

Any ideas for the title?

New MusicEveryone probably has plenty of ideas. We'll have to see what happens, we haven't really had much in the way discussions about it to be honest, or about the tracks to include. It's very much a "band thing" this time and four individuals means alot of personalities to consider, so the decisions are often difficult and time consuming. Funny enough I think it's harder than actually writing and playing, those things come naturally for us.
I'm sure it'll be great anyway **crosses fingers**

Hmmmmm....
I'm not sure if i've seen you guys play????
Is it your band with the nutta guitarist, who jumps about and scarys the crowd by thrusting his guitar towards them???
LOL
Only kidding... plse don't bar me from your gigs!!!
Is there any more info on your next gig????

Excellent! As I said, it's to be plastered on a page on ARSE next week
I'm not sure how big it's going to be yet, it all depends on how much space we've got.

"Tired of seeing bands that spend more time worrying about their hair than creating decent songs?"
Surely you're not suggesting that they have crap hair?!

No, I'm saying they have good songs...
I'm not refering to their hair at all... except for that picture of John's 'emo fringe' on MySpace!
